After 3 albums done solely using Propellerheads ReBirth I felt I'd kinda taken the "techno" thing as far as I could ... it was getting boring! So, I dug out my olde sample CDs, fired up Sonic Foundry's ACID sequencer, recorded some vocals (spoken word poems) & mashed it all up with beats + pieces splurged in ReBirth ... and out popped this album. Part of the remit of this album was also to put a limit on track lengths - 4 mins max - my fave track on the album (Intensity) blew this away though, but what the hell.

I still kinda enjoy listening to this thing ... it's messy + badly produced in places, but I like some of the experiments + it paved the way for some later stuff too. Rah!
